Entrepreneur of the Month Contest Terms
During the months of May and June, the bSherpas entrepreneur support company will conduct a contest of business projects, the rules of which are laid out in this document.
The contest is looking to find the project that, according to the users, is the best business idea in India among those presented during the month of May.
The objective of bSherpas is to find the entrepreneurs with the best business ideas in India. These ideas, as well as the identity of their authors, will be recorded in a book that will be sent to investors who are interested in investing in the entrepreneurs.
Rules of the contest:
1. OBJECTIVE
During the current phase of the contest bSherpas will direct its attentions to finding the entrepreneurs with the ideas that are most valued by the users.
2. PARTICIPATORS
Any person with a business project can participate in the contest, without prejudice in regard to age, nationality, sex, or any other personal characteristic. The projects that are presented can be in any state of development, can require any investment, and can be from any sector, as long as they are created in India, legal, and not contrary to the ethics of the organization.
3. PARTICIPATION
To take part in the contest, the participant must:
- Register on the website www.bsherpas.com.
- Complete the profile with a photo and, at least, a letter of introduction.
- Create a project with the relevant information
- Include a video in any format that explains the idea of the business in less than one minute.
* If any of the previous pieces of information are missing, the participation will be considered "invalid."
4. DATES AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE CONTEST
- From May 1 until May 31, projects will be received on the bSherpas website.
- From May 1 until June 30, the users can vote for the best business idea.
- During the month of July, the organization will contact the participants to let them know the results of the voting.
- The dates regarding the prizes will be specified in point 7.
5. VOTING
Any user registered on www.bSherpas.com can vote on any project he or she desires except their own, using the stars at the introduction of each project.
6. WINNER OR WINNERS
The users will decide the winner with their votes. The winner will be the project with the highest points among the top 10% of projects that received votes.
In the case of a draw, the winner will be the one with the higher score after multiplying the median score by the number of votes.
If there is still a tie, the project that was registered first will win.
The contest organizers reserve the right to not award a prize.
7. PRIZE
The winning project will receive:
- Recognition of the best project of the month in India.
- An appearance as the best project of the month in India in the book "Best Projects in Entrepreneurship in the World 2009-2010," the printed of which version will be sent to principal investors, and the digital version of which will be sent to principal means of communication and bloggers.
- Presence as a winning project on the bSherpas Homepage during the month after winning.
- Certification from bSherpas as one of the monthly winning projects.
- Automatic entry as a finalist in the contest for best project of the year, whose winner will travel to Europe where they will be able to present their project to Intercom Group and other prestigious investors.
8. RESPONSIBILITY
bSherpas reserves the right to change the terms and conditions as many times as necessary, with the objective of clarifying the terms and conditions. The level to which the written content is carried out is the user's responsibility.
9. EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
For those affected by the current contest, the current exclusions or limitations are present:
* neither employees of the bSherpas project, nor the employees of the Grupo Intercom business to which the project belongs, nor their family members.
10. FREEDOM OF RESPONSIBILITY
bSherpas is not held responsible for loss of information or malfunctions of the network, server, computers, or errors in Internet transmission, whether they are caused by human, mechanical, or electronic error, that impede, make difficult, or limit access to the network.
